  • On the Employee form, the Edit button on the skills and cards tab was not enabling - Fixed.
  • When the Bill To left offset was set to print the address more to the left, long names were getting cut off - Fixed.
  • Main Rental list when displaying invoices was not refreshing the total when an invoice amount was modified.
  • Option to only show employees on the employee drag list (located to the right of the equipment chart) for bars that are not marked finished.  Select Tools>Options>Charts and then check the box that says "Don't indicate employees unavailable, in the employee drag list, if their bars have the 'Fin' status assigned".

  • View Only permissions have been extended throughout the program instead of only the schedule data.
  • When an invoice is un-posted, the rental will be un-archived if it is already archived. Previously, it would leave the rental archived and not show up to be transferred.
  • Rate and amount columns have been added to the resource history reports for future forecasting. There is also a total amount calculated at the bottom of the grid.
  • A Vendor list has been added to the Lists menu.  The outside equipment and labor vendor fields on the Resource form are now directly related to the Vendor list.

  • Job Sites could not be deleted from all their associations if they were assigned to the Multiple Address section of a Rental\WO.

  • A "Begin Date" & "End Date" item has been added to the right-click context menu on the Resource Chart of the Rental\WO form that will change the chart date to the begin or end date of the resource's date range.
  • Left Click - Hot Keys have been added to the Chart, DayView Spreadsheet and Resource Chart.  You can now press down the key related to the feature while left clicking on the bar or row.  All hot keys are identified in the right click context menus.  Example: Press 'P' while left clicking on the bar or row and the propagate form opens.
  • The resource order on the Resource Chart can now be adjusted by holding the 'U' or 'D' key while left clicking on the resource.
  • The primary resource's rented size is now displayed on the Customer tab directly under the In-House comments.  Left clicking on the Rented Size label will open the primary resource form.
  • Outside vendor names now show up on the ticket and resource column & bar of the resource chart tab. 
  • Employee Skill Checking will restrict a limited user from adding or ignoring the required skill.  This feature can be shut off in the rental\wo options.
  • A "Comments" field has been added to the Card/Induction form and main Card/Induction list.  You can store up to 255 characters in this field.
  • The Equipment & Employee chart will now prompt you for "One Day" or "Remainder" when dragging and dropping a bar from one resource to another.

  • The Rental List now has "Inv Beg (Bill Per)" and "Inv End (Bill Per)" columns available.
  • The Customer List now has "Ready For" column available.  This column will have a check mark for all the customers ready to be sent to QuickBooks.  So, if you ever wonder what customers have been added or modified by other users, that don't integrate with QuickBooks, insert this column in the customer list and sort on it.
  • Billing Period was adding one extra day to the date range when invoices are created.  Fixed.
  • When the option to use the rental's end date as the invoice date is set it will now use the Billing Period's begin date when creating invoices for a rental that has a billing period set.
  • When a bar was dragged from one resource to another and the option to change the size was selected, it was not changing the associated rates.  Fixed.
  • The Item drop down list on the Items grid of the rental form has been adjusted to display the entire length of the item code and description.
  • You can now adjust the column widths on the Items grid.  This can be done on the Rental/WO form and Configuration form.
  • The Rental/WO's Item grid now has a Cost and Comments column.  The cost column will be used for determining the "Rate of Return" on a specific rental/wo.
  • Items on the Rental/WO's Item tab that have a blank price will not be added to a new invoice.  Only Items that have a price or "0" for a price will appear on the invoice.
  • When an existing Rental/WO is opened, the Customer field will no longer have the text highlighted with the cursor.  This will prevent accidental keystrokes from changing the customer.  A new Rental/WO form will open with the cursor in the Customer Name field as it did before.  By pressing the Tab key on an existing Rental/WO, will bring the cursor into the Customer Name field after it is first opened.

  • The Add Support form will now automatically come up if the equipment has pre-assigned support regardless of the "support required" checkbox.
  • The Add Support form now pops up when adding a new resource to the resource chart tab. Before, this would only come up if the bar was originally added to the equipment chart.
  • There is now a status box on the multiple-resource propagate form. This form is used when propagating multiple resource on the Day View Spreadsheet.

  • A customer search button has been added to the Customer tab of the "Rental/Work Order" form. If you only know part of a customer's name, type it in the customer box and click the search button. The drop down list will only have the customers that have that text within their name.
  • Customers from other branches can now be selected without the inactive warning popping up. (Enterprise version)
  • Employee Skill grid on the Employee form has been corrected to enable the Edit button when there are skills on the grid.
  • The width of the text boxes on the Customer tab of the "Rental/Work Order" form have been increased.

v4.12

  • Added 3 fields to the Equipment Skills tab of the Employee form, Regular Rate, OT Rate and Primary. You now enter the employee,s wages based on their title and configuration. If an employee always gets the same rate as an operator, than they would have a skill with only the title Operator with the rates. The primary check box is to indicate which skill is the one they normally do. Then if you assign the operator on the resource form without picking a title, it will fill in their primary title.
  • Default Non-Rental color option. On the Status form there is a checkbox directly under the "Change Rental Type to Non-Rental" checkbox, that says, "Use Non-Rental default color". When this checkbox is unchecked, you can pick your own bar and spreadsheet colors for the Non-Rental status.
  • A new setting was added to the Chart Options on the On/Off tab. This checkbox says "Match the bars for the primary resource when adding a new resource...". When you are on the Resource Chart tab of the Rental Form and add a new resource to the begin date of the primary resource, it normally will duplicate the primary resource's bars. With this option you can turn this feature off if desired.
  • A checkbox column was added to the service batch form when performing the service. You can now check items in your batch as well as perform them. Once the batch service is completed, the checkmarks for the checked column and the services performed are saved for future reference.
  • Lunch hours are now figured into the Hours column on the Resource List or any Resource History Reports. The total hours in the bottom left and in the title bar are also figuring in the lunch hours. Lunch taken is deducted and lunch worked through is multiplied. The Lunch Taken, Worked Through and Lunch Minutes columns have also been added to the grid.
  • Job Site attachments that are set to print with the ticket will now actually print with the ticket.
  • Stored location information is now part of the equipment data displayed when the Avail check box is checked on the DayView spreadsheet.

  • Total Hours with a checkbox to include travel has been added to the bottom of all Resource History reports including the main Resource List. The Resource List can be accessed by selecting "Lists>Resources". The Resource History reports are located on the Equipment, Employee and Class list, by clicking the "Res History" button.
  • Total Invoice amount with a checkbox to include Tax & Discount has also been added to the bottom of all the Resource History reports.
  • Total Item Value with a checkbox to include Tax & Discount has been added to the bottom of the Equipment Resource History Report. There is a link on the bottom left side of the report that says "Get Item Value". When you click this link, the total value of the Item Number related to the Equipment will be generated.
  • A new field has been added to the Job Site tab of the Rental form for entering the amount of pieces being lifted on the job.
  • A new field has been added to the Equipment form for entering the registration date of the license plate.
  • A new field has been added to the Configuration form for entering the invoice description. This description will be used on the invoice when a line item is generated for the equipment associated with the configuration. If the description field is left blank on the configuration form, the "Equipment Col" tab option of the Invoice options will be used instead.
  • A new column has been added to the invoice line items for associating specific equipment with the line item amount. This will be used for job costing and getting the exact amount a specific piece of equipment generated instead of the total invoice amount. The new "Equip #" column can be added to your line items grid by right-clicking on a column heading and select Columns from the popup menu. Check the box for "Equip #" and click OK. This column will not be printed and does not affect the width of the printable columns to the right.
  • A new option has been added to the "Ticket Options" for printing the Salesperson's Mobile number. If the Salesperson checkbox is selected, you can also select to have their mobile number printed next to their name.
  • A new option has been added to the "Ticket Options" called "Other Size Indicator" for highlighting the Rented-Size on the printed ticket when the crane is being rented as a different size than its manufactured size. This option is similar to the "Other Equipment Indicator", which highlights the equipment number on the ticket when a different employee than the equipment's primary employee is operating it.
  • The License Plate label on the equipment form can now be changed to your own terminology from the Equipment list. If the License Plate column is displayed on the grid, right-click on the column heading and select Rename from the popup menu. If it is not displayed, right-click on a column heading and select "Columns" from the popup menu. On the columns form, select the License Plate column and change the label in the edit box.
  • A new tab has been added to the Job Site form called "Owner Information". This tab gives you extra fields related to the job site if a lien was required or more details are needed. You can also open this tab directly from the Rental form on the Job Site tab by clicking the "Owner Info" button.
  • File Attachments have been added to Job Sites in addition to the Rental form. When you need to attach documents that are needed when returning to a specific job site, attach them to the Job Site by clicking the "Job Site File Attachment" button on the Job Sites tab of the Rental form. You can also view the Job Site's file attachments by opening the Job Site from the Sites list. If you only need documents attached for a specific rental, use the "File Attachments" tab on the rental form instead. These attachments will have no relation to the job site and can only be viewed by opening the rental form.
  • You can now print Rental Items with or without the item code on the ticket. This option is on the Ticket Options called "Items" with a secondary checkbox called "Display Item Code".
  • There is a new field added to the Resource Form called "Resource Notes". This field can handle up to 50 characters and can be printed on the ticket next to each resource. This field can be used for a small note to appear in the resource list of the ticket. To have this field printed on the ticket, select the "Resource Notes" checkbox located in the "Resources - Display" section of the Ticket Options.
  • You can now prevent anyone that is not listed in your list of users from accessing Visual Dispatch. This setting called "Deny Access to Visual Dispatch for users not listed" and is located in the "Tools>Options>User Access" form.

v4.07

  • Right-Click on bar and select Edit Non-Rental now opens the Rental form.
  • Rentals can now be changed to a Non-Rental when a Non-Rental Status is applied and will go back to a normal rental when the status is removed or changed to a normal rental Status.
  • Fixed issue to not add an extra day when a 24-hour bar is extended for one more day and set to end at 12:00 PM
  • Fixed issues to record an "overlap" when a 24-hour bar is extended for one day and the next day had a job bar.
  • When you edit an employee and remove the Salesperson checkbox, you are now prompted to remove this employee from all the customers assigned to them.
  • You can now delete a Card and have it removed from all its Job Sites and Employees. After you remove the unwanted Cards, you can clean up the drop downs by selecting "Lists>Drop Downs>Card Form" and then pick the list you want to clean up. As long as the associated card is deleted, you will be able to delete the Issuer, Type or Renewal.
  • Limited Users can no longer delete a rental. If they draw a bar and the rental form has not been opened yet, they can delete it. As soon as there is any data on the rental form, they cannot delete it. They can, however, delete non-rentals and stored rentals.

v4.06

  • Class has been added to the Lists menu for easier access and there is now a Resource History button on the Class list.
  • Two more bar text displays have been added to the list of bar text. "Rented-Size, Job Code" and "Project Name, City, State, Job Code".

Enterprise Version ONLY:

  • Finished testing the Allowed Branches on the User Security tab of the User Access form. All minor adjustments related to selecting multiple allowed branches for specific users or just assigning a primary branch. There were a few bugs when selecting multiple branches and switching the primary branch after it was saved to the database. These problems have been corrected and all angles have been tested and passed.
  • When a bar is drawn, the selected branch will now always get assigned to the rental. If the user has more than one branch selected, they will get prompted to select a branch from their allowed branches after drawing a bar on the chart.
  • When equipment or employees are added on the fly from the resource form, the user will now get prompted to select a branch if they have more than one selected, otherwise, the selected branch will be assigned.

v4.04

  • Improved Card Check feature. A list of all the employees that have missing or expired cards will appear when the Card Check button is clicked. Able to add or edit each employee's cards on the list and correct them until the list is empty.
  • Added File Attachments for Job Sites. You will be able to open a Job Site from the Site's list and add file attachments. There will also be a button on the Job Site tab of the rental form that will open the Job Site form for adding or removing file attachments. There is also a new button on the Map tab that will attach the map to the Job Site instead of the rental. There will still be a button for attaching to the rental is desired.
  • Added Undo button on Chart views. User is able to undo multiple time changes, including the deletion of a travel bar or travel bar adjustment.
  • Improved printing of Radius on Job Ticket. Radius was being printed on the ticket only when the "Dist From, Height and Dist In" were blank. If there was a Dist From or In, the Center-Center would appear which is a calculated Radius. Now if there is a Radius entered it will overwrite the Center-Center. The only time you will see the Center-Center on the ticket is when the Radius field is blank. Whenever there is a Radius entered, it will say Radius on the ticket.
