Visual Dispatch Lift Analysis

Check a Lift Form

The Visual Dispatch® Lift Analysis feature enables anyone to size a crane for nearly any lift. Even if you are experienced at reading load charts, this feature will enahnce your ability to quickly gernerate the lift data you and your customers need. Enter the 3 lift dimensions and, if know, the load weight, as shown in the image to the left, and Visual Dispatch® software will select the appropriate crane size for the lift.

Results - Lift Capacity

In this example, the dimensions require the crane to lift 8,000 lbs., 45 feet out from the back bumper or side of the outriggers. Referencing the back bumper instead of the center pin allows all the cranes in your fleet to be analyzed at the same time. Visual Dispatch® selects the approriate crane from the analysis, in this case the 40 Ton Lorain, only if the lift can be performed over the rear of the crane.

Lift dimension are stored with a rental. If lift dimensions are supplied on a rental form, they can also be printed on the operator ticket as an image of a building with the labeled lift dimensions. The center pin to the center of the unit be lifted is automatically calculated and displayed on the ticket.

Boom Configuration

The Boom Configuration button allows you to view the boom configuration of any crane capable of achieing the desired lift. The boom configuration shows the exact setup required to lift the max capacity for the given lift dimensions. The boom configuration window shows the Boom length, Jib Length, Offset, Tip Height and Required Counter Weight.

Results - Furthest Distances

If the load weight entered was 8,000 lbs, the rows on the grid display indicate the furthest distance over the rear and over the side that each crane size can safely acheive a lift. A boom configuration can be displayed, as in the previous example, for any given row.

Load Weight Only for Furthest Distances

If you only supply the load weight and click the results button, you will see the furthest distance that all your cranes can take the unit out. This feature determines this information in less than 3 seconds, and the Dispatcher does not have to be an experienced chart reader.
